After Workshop 5 the FCC committee
will approve new judges to be added to the list of judges. This
updated list will then be forwarded to all
clubs.
Workshops 1 to
4 are now scheduled to be held in Port Macquarie over two
weekends – 3rd/4th and 24th/25th October. Club members
interested in attending these workshops should email their name,
address, phone number and email address to Roy Killen at
roykillen@mac.com . They will then be advised of the procedure
for registering and paying.
Negotiations are under way to conduct the
workshops in the Western District in 2010.
The first four workshops are open to all
members of camera clubs that are affiliated with the FCC. The
final two-day workshop is restricted to members who have attended
the first four workshops and who are willing to undergo specific
training as judges.
The first four workshops will each run for six hours and the
final workshop will run for 12 hours.
The cost of each workshop will be $40.
Those who successfully complete the fifth workshop and go on to
judge at camera clubs will be eligible for a refund of the fee
for that workshop.
Club members may attend as many or as few
of the workshops as they please. However, those who want to
qualify as judges will need to attend all five sessions. Some
people may choose to attend some workshops in 2009 and
other workshops in 2010 or later.
There will be a limit of
50 participants in each workshop.
More detailed information about each
workshop has been emailed to all clubs that are members of the
FCC.
